Super Bowl : Geek Advert Wrap Up
Every year it seems Super Bowl Sunday impacts more and more of the world, and not just for the sport either. We took a look at the dramatic game, entertainment and the all important (??) high-priced advertising.
Now being geeks we were keen to hear how tech savvy companies tackled the battle for advertising attention.
In an all out attempt to remind the world that “We Still Exist”, Blackberry played this commercial before Super Bowl as a reminder that they were here first.
Launched recently the Z10 signalled a change for Blackberry… A change in company name and a hope that this product will change their current fortunes.
Star Trek : Into Darkness
The latest in the reimagined JJ Abram’s Star Trek Universe also made its presence known at Super Bowl 2013. Got to say the Geeksphere team are REALLY looking forward to this movie. They slipped two trailer versions into the commercial mix.
The famous blue clothed company turned to Amy Poeler for help in showing off their product range.
Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd are pitted in an awkward casting situation to help Samsung promote the brand.
Of course this was hot on the heels of this pre-Super Bowl released commercial.
And of course there were plenty of car commericals. Thanks to SuperBowl 2013 Commericals on YouTube for an easy place to find these gems. Go check out their channel for more SuperBowl 2013 Commericals by clicking here.
